Changing your lifestyle can be difficult. It involves a lot of trials and errors, learning, and relearning. That’s why we are here to figure this thing out together. I’ve done most of the work in researching with trial and error on recreating some of my favorite recipes… Low carb and Keto of course.
PCOS friendly Sugar-Free Lemonade
Berries are high in antioxidants making this berry lemonade PCOS friendly. Finding ways to encourage berries and other antioxidant-rich foods in your diet are key to decreasing the risk of cancer. Women with PCOS experience higher oxidative stress as opposed to a woman without. Having a diet high in antioxidants can help offset the effects of oxidative stress and decrease your risk of certain cancers.

Monk Fruit Sweetened Keto Lemonade
Monk Fruit sweetener was used in this recipe. It’s my experience that this is the best low carb sweetener without that awful minty aftertaste. You can make this recipe as sweet or as tart as you would like by playing around with the monk fruit sweetener ratio.
If you wish to create more of a detox kind of strawberry and mint water. Omit the Monk Fruit sweetener altogether. If you allow the strawberries to infuse for at least 24 hours. The water will take the strawberry flavor without all of the sweetness.
HOW MANY NET CARBS IN OUR KETO LEMONADE?
The net carbs in our keto lemonade depend on your measurements so I won’t go into specifics. The net carbs can fluctuate based on how much lemon to water you use. The carbs are so minimal in this recipe it, not something I would measure to strictly. The most important is ensuring you get just the right amount of tart, like a Chik-Fil-A Lemonade 🙂
Sometimes plain water just doesn’t cut it and you need to add a little pizazz to your water without adding all of the sugar and unnecessary carbs.
